EILDON LIONS EASTER MARKET
This is an annual event held each Easter Saturday from 8am to 2pm in beautiful Moore Park, opposite the Eildon Shopping Centre. The market commenced in 1983 as a small Trash and Treasure Market. Those days are long left behind. The market now has over 110 sites and is very popular with customers and stall holders who come from as far as NSW.
The market is run in a professional manner with many compliments coming from stall holders on the ease of setting up on their designated site, the help they receive from Lions members with parking, or setting up a gazebo. A huge variety of goods are for sale. Handcrafts, woodcrafts, leatherwork, wine tasting, hot and cold food, sweets, potatoes, honey, paintings, bric'a'brac, childrens amusements, jewellery, T&T and much more.
Eildon is a tourist town with many visitors over Easter. Our records in 2016 tell us that 5000+ customers came through the gates. In 2014 the market was awarded the 'Murrindindi Shire Event of the Year'.
If you are interested in becoming a stall holder at the 2018 market or have some questions about it, please do not hesitate to email: firstname.lastname@example.org or write to Eildon Lions Club PO Box.36 Eildon.3713

We are the Lions
We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.
Our 1.35 million men and women in 207 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.
Lions Australia has a proud history of achievement and helping the most needy in the community. Think about disasters like Cyclone Tracy, the Black Saturday bushfires and the Queensland floods – Lions were there helping in practical ways. Think about the Bionic ear, the Cervical Cancer vaccine – Gardisil, Fred Hollows – Lions were there in the early days funding research and health strategies long before they became household names. Think too, about the local parks, monuments, sporting centres and facilities built by your Lions Clubs; built by people who saw a need and got down to the job of meeting that need, with their ideas, skills and labour.
Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live.
Becoming a Lion
Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in
their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their
volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing
unmet health and education needs worldwide.
